Cynthia P. Cerny is a long-time resident of Colorado and
former ice dancer who trained at the highly acclaimed Broadmoor World
Arena. Prior to launching her writing career, Cynthia served as executive
assistant and right-hand “man” to a number of corporate presidents, CEOs,
and Chairmen. She was also a member of Executive Women International (EWI),
serving on the Board of the Denver Chapter.
Shortly after the tragedy of September 11, Cynthia decided it was time
to pursue her real passion—writing—and in fourth quarter 2002 her first
book, LOSERS, CREEPS, JERKS, AND WEIRDOS: A DATING STORY, was released,
reaching bestseller status in February 2003.
In June 2007, Cynthia’s eagerly anticipated second book, LUNA TIDES, was
released nationwide. LUNA TIDES is a story of human perseverance and growth,
evoking a full range of emotions for readers in a style that has been
described by readers and reviewers as “superb”, “refreshing,” “genuine,”
and “powerful.”
From entertaining and humorous in LOSERS to dramatic and
serious in LUNA TIDES, Cynthia continues to delight her fans with an acute
understanding of her audience.
In addition to inspiring through the written word Cynthia also is a
popular speaker, addressing audiences across the country with her practical
message of empowerment, hope, and possibilities for both women and men.
